How do I find things on wimgo™?
The advantage of wimgo™ is the extensive network of local organizations that make sure the content is accurate and concise. If it’s happening in Oklahoma, you can find it on wimgo™! Search by topic, venue, city, zip code, or even “this weekend.” Not only can you conveniently search for what you need, but you can also plan your entire weekend. With our “What’s Nearby?” feature, you will find a list of restaurants, attractions and businesses within a 2-mile radius of the event or venue. Wimgo.com is free to search, free to post, and full of what’s happening in Oklahoma!
How do I add my event to wimgo™?
Step 1: Click the “Add an Event” button on the wimgo™ homepage.
Step 2: Sign in using your wimgo™ login, NewsOK login, or sign up for a new wimgo™ account. It’s quick and simple.
Step 3: Complete the “When is it happening” page. Share all the details of your event, including photos, contact information, and more. Click “Next.”
Step 4: Complete the “Where is it happening” page. Share all the details about where your event will take place. Click “Next”.
Step 5: Promote your event. Your event listing is free, but wimgo™ also offers you the opportunity to get your event even more attention. You may purchase “Attention Getters,” or icons posted next to your event listing, drawing readers’ eyes to your event in search results. You may also choose to purchase “Featured Result Status” to spotlight your event at the top of all relevant search results.
Step 6: View your event. Once your event has been submitted, it is live for the entire world to see. Users can rate your event, make comments and even e-mail the event to friends.
